With clean hands, roll the plug between your fingers to soften it.
Shape the softened plug into a ball.
Place the plug over the ear opening and flatten it to form an airtight seal. Avoid pushing the plug deep into the ear canal.
To remove, press up on the ear from behind the ear lobe and carefully lift the edges of the plug to break the seal.
