How To Use Cleanse the wound in accordance with clinical practice and dry the surrounding skin thoroughly. Select a dressing size that overlaps the wound margin by at least 2 cm onto the surrounding skin. Mepitel may be cut to size if necessary. Grip both overlapping release films and carefully remove them. Apply Mepitel with the tacky side to the wound. Smooth the dressing in place onto the surrounding skin to ensure a good seal. Apply a secondary absorbent dressing on top of Mepitel. Fixate the dressings in place with a suitable bandage or other fixation method.
